With hair as thin as Romana’s, conventional bonding and tape extensions alone aren’t suitable for lengthening or thickening hair in a natural-looking way. It’s precisely for hair situations like this that we developed the MicroLines hair thickening solution, which is finely handcrafted and available in all colours, lengths and textures. Although we have many different standard models, we frequently make custom designs for our customers too, such as Romana.

An exceptional type of woman = an exceptional MicroLines model

Even though custom products are an integral part of our services, Romana’s MicroLines are a particularly complex design. The length of the hair thickening model isn’t common and the silver-grey isn’t a typical Hairdreams colour. Our raw hair had to be dyed to achieve the colour gradient the customer wanted: from silver-white at the roots to silver-grey at the tips. We also incorporated some burgundy highlights to add eye-catching accents to the silver-grey locks.

Romana was beaming from ear to ear after the makeover. “I absolutely love my long, curly locks already! It’s amazing how light and comfortable the MicroLines are to wear, I can barely feel them. When I look in the mirror, I can’t imagine it’s not my own hair, my hairstyle looks so natural now.”

Stylist Anette Stänz has been a Hairdreams partner since 1998. Her salon La Perla in Switzerland specialises in both hair extensions and hair thickening. Anette was the stylist responsible for Romana’s makeover.
