New Hair, new life: behind the scenes of an incredible makeover

Diagnosis: breast cancer. A heavy blow for any woman, and Christine from Frankfurt is no exception. Life is turned upside down. Priorities change. Suddenly the world looks completely different… Fortunately for cheerful Christine, she beat cancer and the story had a happy ending! There was one catch though: after the chemotherapy, her already-thin hair didn’t grow back as usual. It was more lifeless and even thinner, regardless of which products she used.

Wigs: a solution with plenty of compromises

Over time, Christine’s desire for a full head of hair grew stronger. Wear my hair loose, tie it in a chunky braid… Christine’s first thought? A wig. Although this solution promised a quick fix, there was a problem: “It was a very strange feeling taking the wig off again in the evening,” says Christine. “Like I was taking off part of me.” Then the Frankfurt local came across the Hairdreams MicroLines System. A full head of hair, permanently? Without having to “give up” anything? A solution without limitations that allows you to keep up all your hobbies, from swimming to motorcycling? Is that even possible? “I was curious and slightly sceptical at first, I have to admit. But MicroLines convinced me,” shares Christine. “They deliver exactly what they promise. I am absolutely thrilled with them.”

At the heart of Christine’s transformation are our MicroLines. MicroLines are fine threads to which Hairdreams human hair are attached. Each MicroLine is made to measure and is adapted exactly to the customer. And that’s exactly what Christine got.
The MicroLines are carefully attached to the existing hair without causing any damage. This was particularly important to Christine because, understandably, she didn’t want to damage her hair, which is very fine anyway.

XXL length with the Quikkies Tape Extensions

In the second step of the makeover, we decided to give Christine extensions with our Quikkies Tape Extensions. These feather-light tapes are attached to the hairline, resulting in a fantastic and natural length. The hair is then trimmed and styled. The result? An absolute dream! Christine can now wear her MicroLines for up to a year and a half.
