Our MicroLines system is a special kind of hair integration with real human hair. It consists of a durable, hypo-allergenic microfine net. We individually attach real hair strands to the net by hand! Your MicroLines fits perfectly to the shape of your head, integrates with your own hair and can be styled as desired.
The MicroLines piece is attached to your own hair on the top of your head, using a method that takes about 30 minutes and is gentle and hair. With this method, your own hair is meticulously integrated through the net and ready for styling. Contrary to hairpieces and toupees, your new Hairdreams hair blends magically with your own hair for an absolutely natural result!

How much does hair thickening with MicroLines cost?

MicroLines is custom fitted to your needs, so you can be sure that the result looks just as you wish. There are various MicroLines types, such as with or without parting, extra push-up effect, hair lengths from 8 to 16 inches, as well as individual customizations. That’s why a price cannot be quoted prior to a salon consultation.

We recommend you schedule a consultation at a Hairdreams partner salon near you. Once our professionals have made an accurate assessment of your hair situation and your wishes, a detailed quote can be provided prior to any commitment.

Is the cost covered by health insurance?

In some cases, your health insurance may cover or reimburse part of the cost. It’s best to speak with your insurance company and then consult with your Hairdreams salon.

How do I wash and style my hair?

Wash your hair as described in the care instructions. Your Hairdreams stylist will show you exactly what to do. You can blow dry and style your hair as usual. With your new hair volume you have even more styling options than before: fabulous locks created with a curling iron? An elegant hairstyle achieved with a flat iron? No problem.

Special care products will also help to keep your MicroLines and own hair shiny and smooth. But not to worry, the professionals at our partner salons will give you detailed advice for optimal hair care.

How long can I wear my MicroLines?

Thanks to our superior hair quality, you can wear your MicroLines for two years or longer. Incredible, but true! For a perfect fit and great wearing comfort, we recommend that you have it reapplied at your Hairdreams salon approximately every 4 to 6 weeks. After approx. 6-8 months, you should also have your 7-Star Hair MicroLines refreshed by Hairdreams, to extend the wearing life of the piece. (See point 5 “What happens during a MicroLines refresh?”). In addition to these regular service visits, our specially developed care products will ensure that you will enjoy your new hair volume for a very long time.

What happens during a MicroLines refresh?

Each MicroLines model is a hand-knotted individual piece. Despite the greatest perfection in craftsmanship, during the course of time individual hairs loosen and fall out due to combing and other external influences. Therefore, after about 6 to 8 months a professional refreshing service should be carried out at the Hairdreams manufacturing facility. In this process, fallen out hairs are carefully replaced by new, healthy hairs in our proven 7-star quality, matched perfectly to your chosen hairstyle in color, structure and length. But don’t worry, your Hairdreams stylist will know exactly when the refresh service is necessary and will take care of everything for you.

Do I have to visit the salon regularly with my MicroLines?

Yes. Every 4 to 6 weeks, your stylist will remove and reapply your MicroLines. This is necessary because your own hair is constantly growing and so the MicroLines will become loose. With regular service visits, your MicroLines will always wear perfectly and reliably. During those visits, your hair is typically cut and or colored for that wonderful “fresh from the salon” feeling.

Is MicroLines made with real hair?

Of course! We only use specially selected premium real hair, procured according to strict ethical guidelines. The high quality of our real human hair is also our trademark. You will feel and see the difference from day one. An example of why Hairdreams hair is of such high quality: In our production we inspect each hair INDIVIDUALLY – strand by strand – and always discard damaged or grey hair.

Is MicroLines suitable for fine hair?

Yes! MicroLines are not only suitable for fine and delicate hair, but have actually been specially developed for it. When conventional methods reach their limits, MicroLines will easily create natural fullness even in areas where little or no hair exists.

Will I feel MicroLines while wearing it?

MicroLines consist of a microfine net that can barely be felt, is hypo-allergenic and breathable. Your scalp can breathe freely and it is comfortable to wear.

Are there restrictions in my everyday life?

Unlike conventional hairpieces, toppers or wigs, you have absolutely no restrictions with your MicroLines. You can swim, ride in a convertible, play sports or dance the night away – everything is possible without compromise, just like with your own hair!

Which hairstyles are possible?

Any hairstyle is possible since MicroLines hair thickening easily adapts to your needs. You can choose where the parting should be, whether with or without bangs, what length you would like and much more. With our wide selection of readily available styles, you can let your hairstyling imagination run wild. Can I color my roots at home while wearing MicroLines?

Coloring your own roots while wearing MicroLines is not possible due to the nature of MicroLines. But not to worry: Your roots can be conveniently colored every 4 to 6 weeks at your regular service appointment at your Hairdreams salon.
