Healthy, strong and 100 % real human hair

Our hair creations are made of real human hair with virtually 100% of the cuticle intact and damage free, scientifically proven by studies done at Aachen University.* In cheaper hair samples reviewed in the same study, there was up to 80% damaged hair. The consequence of this damage? Hair loses its shine, gets matted or the color doesn’t stay. A no-go for high-quality Hairdreams hair.

Our manufacturing

For over 30 years, Hairdreams has been manufacturing the finest real hair creations – and all are unique! Tried and true handmade craftsmanship coupled with proprietary production techniques meet the latest patented technology.

During production, each hair is examined closely to accurately sort the various color tones. Our strict selection process pays off. In the end, only around 30% of the original hair passes the stringent sorting and only then is it processed into Hairdreams hair. This is “Remy” hair without exception, meaning all hair aligned in the same direction and with the hair cuticle fully intact.

The secrets to refined Hairdreams hair

The raw hair quality is key

Raw hair refers to hair before it is processed further into various hair products, such as extensions. Many manufacturers do not pay much attention to the condition of their raw hair. In many cases, dyed, bleached or damaged raw hair is used as a basis and prepared with silicon treatments so that it looks healthy and strong at first glance. The problem emerges after the first few hair washes: the gloss fades, the hair becomes straw like and matted.

This is not the case with Hairdreams! Our philosophy is based on the premise that high-quality hair creations can only be made from suitable raw hair. We work exclusively with healthy and untreated raw hair that has neither been dyed nor bleached.

Our raw hair is real hair of a Europid type. But what does that mean? Human hair is divided into three basic types: African, Asian and European hair types. For example, they differ in shape and or thickness. Europid hair is silkier and smoother and the only hair type that occurs naturally in (ash) blond, red and light brown tones. We sort the hair individually according to colors and therefore do not need to lift it chemically to prepare it for the desired coloring. The advantage: no chemical damaging of the natural hair.

Fair Trade: Dream hair with responsibility

Our raw hair comes from around the world – starting with Eastern Europe and many countries of the Caucasus region and all the way across the Atlantic to regions of South America. Anyplace where people are willing to provide their hair for payment. The basic requirement is that their own (raw) hair is not chemically treated in any way such as dyed or bleached.

We are subject to a strict ethical code that goes far beyond typical industry standards. Hairdreams hair can be worn with pride and a clear conscience.

Creating Hairdreams hair

World renowned Hairdreams hair quality is achieved through an elaborate manufacturing process, thousands of working hours and hundreds of trained specialists.

Incoming quality control

At the start, we check the keratin content to determine whether the raw hair is healthy and has not been dyed or chemically treated. Next the surface structure is inspected. Hair with split ends or damaged cuticles is eliminated. Additionally, the color and elasticity of the hair must be satisfactory for the hair to be processed further.

Length selection by hand

The sorted hair is laid out, measured and manually subdivided according to length. We painstakingly ensure that no shorter hair makes it's way into the batches. You can therefore be sure that Hairdreams hair is consistently strong and voluminous from the roots to the ends.

7-Star hair

For our exclusive 7-Star hair quality, the hair from each batch is sorted with tweezers and a magnifier by color range. Since this hair already is sorted and arranged by color tone, it does NOT have to be bleached and only toned slightly to match the color selection, if need be. Blonde raw hair becomes blonde Hairdreams hair, brunette becomes brunette, without any chemical damage to the hair.

5-Star hair

Here, as a first step we eliminate any white hairs. Then the naturally dark hair is given its required base tone by a slow and gentle lightening process. This is achieved by placing the hair in a special solution for up to six weeks. Finally, it's end color is toned to match our color selection.

#iNSPOS hair

#iNSPOS Hair is a completely new type of hair with Memory Effect, which means it remembers your hairstyle and makes it last for days. The 'secret' of #iNSPOS Hair is an innovative special coating and fiber reinforcement that gives the hair unique properties and benefits. A Thermo-active protective film protects the extensions from hot tool heat damage. Perfect for anyone with straighter hair, #iNSPOS extensions are made to thrive with flat and curling irons.

Natural color blending

All Hairdreams hair is intermixed with at least three to four color tones. We call this soft mix "blending." The hair blends beautifully with your own hair creating a natural variety of color tones. The color blending is one of the reasons why Hairdreams hair looks incredibly natural.

Directional alignment of the hair

With a specially developed and patented procedure, we guarantee that our hair is 100% Remy. This is an extremely painstaking process, but it is important to us that each individual hair is correctly aligned in one direction, otherwise the hair mats after a few washes.

Keratin bath for an unparalleled shine

In the last step of the refinement process, Hairdreams hair is soaked in a protein treatment and keratin absorption for 12 days. This makes the Hairdreams hair silky, soft and shiny.

Outgoing quality control

At the end of the process, our experts inspect the hair for tensile strength and elasticity. Only then is it further processed into an end product, e.g. into bonded or tape extensions or MicroLines, and sent to our Hairdreams headquarters and distribution in Graz. From there, the Hairdreams hair is sent out around the world.

Amazing color range from natural to bold

Our real hair is available in countless radiant colors: from soft natural tones to bold fashionable colors. Dual color hair strands, e.g. in the popular balayage look, are available in our Premium hair quality. Subtle and soft visible color gradations also give all our hair a unique naturalness.

In addition, we can make any custom color especially for you. Nothing is impossible: for eccentric Hairdreams fanatics such as the avant-garde designer Charlie le Mindu and pop icon Lady Gaga, we have even created hairdos of real gold, in glittering neon colors and many other unusual tones and blends.

Hair lengths up to 32 Inches

We love long hair and can fulfil any long hair dream you may have. Hair lengths up to 24 inches are available immediately. If that’s not long enough, we can create extra-long hair up to 32 inches custom for you.

Maximum hair volume right down to the ends

Another special feature of Hairdreams hair is that has practically no shorter lengths. This means that all the hair is at least as long as the ordered hair length. This is by no means standard, because for many other suppliers, for example "24 inch hair length" means that only some of the hair is actually 24 inches long. Most of the hair, however, is shorter – known as "short lengths". The hair increasingly diminishes towards the bottom and so the ends appear limp and split. This is not the case at Hairdreams. Hairdreams hair is not only at least as long as the stated length, it is as a rule even longer – from approx. 3/4" to 2". This means that Hairdreams hair in the length of "24 inches" has lengths that are actually 24 to 26 inches long. Your advantage: maximum hair volume right down to the ends and a wider choice of hairstyles. In addition, less hair is needed overall.

9 textures for every hair type

From super straight to slightly wavy and tight curls – Hairdreams real hair can be ordered and made into every hair texture! The basic texture of our hair is straight with a slight beachy wave when air dried, but can be curled with a curling iron or permed to achieve a desired style. Additionally, our product range also includes real naturally wavy hair by special order. We can also process it as extra straight hair to go the complete other direction. As you can see, at Hairdreams anything is possible.
